Last Friday, we took another important step towards technological independence and data protection "Made in Germany": Our last Plesk server was successfully shut down and completely migrated to a modern hosting solution from Germany.
With this step, we are finally saying goodbye to the international Plesk platform and from now on will rely exclusively on a German software solution.
Why the change?
The decision to permanently replace Plesk is based on several considerations - first and foremost the constantly rising license costs:- Cost control in the interests of our customers: In recent years, Plesk has adjusted its license models several times - sometimes with significant price increases. We were not prepared to pass these additional costs on to our customers unfiltered, as they contradict our claim to fair and transparent pricing.
- Data protection & GDPR compliance: The new solution is developed and operated entirely in Germany - without any dependencies on US subsystems.
- Open standards & integration: Our new platform offers a flexible architecture and can be seamlessly integrated into our automation and management systems.
